I have a mk4 jetta with oem vw bars. What wind fairing can I get for these bars? What kind of accessories like rack pads, bike rack, baskets? The internet isn’t helping and I need help from people who have this stuff

Okay so this is moreso a followup on a previous question I asked involving more details.

I plugged the vagcom cable into the computer while I was driving and could not read the module. it says "no controller found" or something similar I cant remember.

anyways, when I'm stopped, the controller can be read and picks up fine. I can then go into the module to read the codes.

the codes are- "00283 wheel speed sensor- front left g47"

this has been replaced and the harness as well.

is it the module?

I know it s a long shot, but I m going to explain my issues as best as I can.

I bought my 2000 vw jetta gls vr6 3 years ago. The abs sensor light and traction control light would come on and off.

I take the car to the shop for multiple issues, timing chains, ac compressor replacement, o2 sensor replacement, and finally the abs sensor fix.

The shop does the work, check engine light off, ac works, timing chains replaced, and "apparently" the abs issue is fixed.

I go to pick up the car, and I start it and the abs light and traction control light stay on.

I tell the shop, the said it was working when they fixed it, and they look at it another day. They replaced the sensor (again after I had just replaced it) and replaced the harness with a new one.

The sensor worked sometimes for them, readying some speeds when spinning the tires, but then it would not work.

When I took the car home, the lights were on, then I drove it later that day, and the traction control was working and the abs light was off. I hit a speed bump and it kicked back on right after the bump.

Currently, the abs and traction control lights stay on more frequently than off.

So the issue is with the front left.

So at this point, we ruled out:

-abs sensor

-abs sensor harness

I haven t checked the brake fluid, and the shop said the module is most likely bad because it wasn t throwing an physical code.

I have a fresh hardline build with clear petg and copper blocks and white brass fittings. My pc is mostly white, and I already have leds so I can change the color to match white. What s the best opaque coolant?

They stay on forever. I have a 2000 vw mk4 vr6. I have replaced the front left and right abs sensors, a pain to do, and I ran a vag-com check on my car. My car is throwing this fault code- 0283 abs sensor front left g47- I understand this could be the sensor or harness, so I looked around again for issues.

The harness is taped up in places, so I undid the tape and checked out the issues. Some wires were crimped together to make the necessary connections. I took off the crimps and checked out the wires. I spun new wires together and soldered them securely together then taped them.

Now, I get the same issue when I clear my abs error codes. Same 0283 issue.

- the wire harness was previously repaired before I got the car, and when I got the car the abs light would go on and off, and I d hear terrible braking issues right before the abs light went on to show it wasn t working.

- I saw no issues with the connections with the harness or the abs module with my trained eye.

Could I have overlooked something? Could the sensor just be bad in itself? Should I take the brake assembly apart to see if I can find the issues?

I Will be very specific on everything I have done to try to fix this. As of now, the amp is turned on, but no sound is coming from subwoofer.

I moved my amp from a spot behind the seat to the trunk. In doing this, I needed to extend some cables. The remote wire and rca cable. I bought female to male rca cables and more remote wire.

I got everything mounted, turned it on, and it didn t work. No sound from subs. The power light was on and the amp was not in protective mode.

So, I bought a new amp, to diagnose a broken amp.

I bought a new head unit that is the same model as mine, to diagnose a blow rca jack in the back.

I bought a new remote wire, wired it in and no dice.

I bought a new rca wire, wired it in no dice.

My ground is stable.

My power is flowing.

My fuses are not blown.

I tried perfectly working speakers and new speaker wire, no dice.

I don t know if I forgot anything. But the jist of it is, I ve replaced just about everything in my system, and it hasn t worked. The only thing I haven t done is mess with the wiring in the back of the head unit aside from the rcas. But that is because the wiring isn t the issue as it was working perfectly before when untouched.

Right now, I have a new amp fuse shipping to me for my power wire, so I m gonna replace that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a boss amp. I have a Rockford fosgate sub. I recently moved my amp to a different location. Unplugged the battery and everything, have a good ground, remote, and power. Rca seem fine and worked earlier today. Speaker is fine and speaker wires are fine.

I put rca extensions and cut the remote wire and added wire to make them both longer to fit where I wanted.

I regrounded the amp and the power wire and speaker wires are the same.

The amp did not touch metal it was being mounted on carpet inside a compartment in my trunk, I have a mk4 jetta and it was going where the 6 disk cd changer was located.

This shows no signs of not working!

When I turn the car on the amp is getting power and the green light turns on fine.

No sound to subwoofer. Tried a friends speaker and no sound to that either.

Is the issue with my amp? Did moving it kill it? Are my rca on the amp or head unit broken? Did I fry it?

I have a 2000 jetta vr6, and I can t seem to find the piping diameter size on the exhaust anywhere. My current cat is bad and not getting hot enough to do it s job so I need a replacement. What is the in/out diameter size of the stock catalytic converter on the stock exhaust system?

Is it legal to have a smoked or tinted license plate cover on my license plate? I live in Georgia, USA.

I think my internal head unit amp is dead on my alpine cde-w235bt head unit. All I hear is bass from my subwoofer and no speakers at all. If I was to get a 4 channel amp to wire my speakers to that then to my head unit, would it work or produce sound from my speakers?

I have an Alpine cde-w235bt head unit in my car. Everything should be wired correctly by the way. Okay.

Recently, my head unit has started to stop playing sound out of the speakers, but it plays sound out of the subwoofer still.

I took the head unit out, and the back of it was super hot, abnormally hot.

Is this causing the issue? Is my head unit bad after these few years? Is there any way to fix it?

I m going to try to explain this as best as I can so bear with me.

I have an alpine cde-235bt. It s been installed in my car for over 2 years. Recently, as of one week ago, I run into an issue where I turn on my car and I just have bass from my subwoofer. No sound coming from my stereo speakers. Then other times I turn the car on and everything works fine.

I have 2 kicker door speakers 2 Rockford fosgate door speakers and a 2600 watt boss amp with 10 inch Rockford sub. Nothing crazy just a stable system.

Now I do know that the wiring was messed up by the shop that did the install. At first they ran it to a constant so my battery kept dying. And now, the little scanner module for under the steering wheel does not work because of miswiring.

I have no taken it apart to check their wiring, but my mechanic said that it s wired wrong for sure if it can t be scanned for issues.

I m asking on yahoo before I take it and spend the money to get it looked at. Is the stereo speaker issue because the stereo is dying? Or is it just bad wiring showing after a few years?

32 gb g.skill ripjaws X ram.

240 gb ssd (os) 2 tb western digital (storage)

Plenty of air cooling, runs smooth.

My CPU never gets over 36 degrees under game Load, the GPUS never get over 50 degrees in games on max.

i want to get higher performance out of my system. I feel like it could be bottlenecked but I'm not sure. My fps in games in thoroughly not impressive.

Is it my board? CPU? Gpu? Psu? I don't know that's why I'm asking. I want too performance out of this system and I may have cut corners going AMD but it's qualify amd products.

I have a 2000 vr6 2.8. Drives perfect no issues dumped a ton of money to get it running good.

But every since I got it it makes a rattling noise at idle.

Abs sensor is bad as well.

I have a 2000 Glx vr6 Jetta 2.8. I want to delete my catalytic converter (which is bad) and replace it with something that reads the sensor so that the check engine light turns off but it doesn't do anything, basically a straight pipe or resonator with a sensor readout. Idk the name of this kind of product, totally slipped my mind and need a refresher. Again, I know the converter is illegal, I also don't care. Thanks
