I have herd about a plane crash due to fuel tank explosion. Can car fuel tank have similar blast?

We all know that gasoline is much more flammable than aviation fuel and a small spark can lead to fire and we have electronics components in fuel tank too, like fuel pump and fuel level sensor. Then how do modern cars prevent such incidents as fuel tank explosions are just too rare.

I have car with front disc brakes and rear drum parking brakes. I understand how ABS and EBD works. Disc brakes can be auto controlled by system but drum brakes are manual how can they be controlled automatically by computer. As drum brakes are applied manually by wire tensions.

Further, if drum brakes made controlled by computer then how they will be used to park a power-off car and if no ABS and EBD is used in them then whole purpose of EBD will be defeated.

Then how it goes??

Recent i purchased a new car, it came with 2 identical keyless entry remotes. I am able to use any to lock/unlock my car. But i wonder how can both the remotes work together, as we all know that car remotes use rolling codes technique, so that every time code is changed. So if i keep on using a remote for a year or so, then other spare remote will become useless and whole purpose of providing spare remote will become useless for the company.

Has some new technology other than rolling codes come to the market?

Pls suggest me an Android app for driving with friends and family in which we can see the current location of co-drivers in other cars. Just like we see other racers in any racing game( eg NFS) . I drive a lot with family/friends with 2-3 cars and at times , in case of heavy traffic, it becomes difficult for other drivers to keep an eye on other car.

my car has black-dry soot deposit in exhaust pipe(mpfi car). some people say that it is due to running rich, others say that it is due to burning oil, what is it?

my car's evaporator coil(idk what it it but it is aluminium pipe that leads to cabin) is too cold to touch but fan is not blowing enough cold air, what could be the reason?

ac gas is on optimum level, condenser recently cleaned and cooling is also present but fan only blowing slightly cold air.

i have a mpfi GASOLINE car(doesn't matter which car it is?), from last 2 weeks, when in 2nd or 3rd gear and engine is under load of picking it up, it knocks, when i release gas pedal completely car jerks forward and backward as if misfiring. it smokes all time and smoke is whitish but not steam, because smoke is heavy and is just like old carburetor cars used to smoke when they ran rich...

smoke is has little blueish tint to it? is it engine oil? i can also smell gas inside cabin. however smoke is reduced(not stopped) upto some extent when engine is somewhat warm. however it again releases a huge puff when it knocks while running and picking up?

my car recently started burning oil, now my mechanic told me that piston rings should be changed and i know that piston rings are damn cheap and would cost around 50$ (for piston rings, head gasket and valve seals) but he is asking more that 10 times for entire repair.

is extra amount he is asking for is his labor charges? or anything else needs to be replaced that costs higher?

in petrol car engine how do you differentiate between smoke caused by burning engine oil and smoke of rich-running engine.

i have a lot of black soot deposit and white heavy smoke out of tail pipe.

is it engine oil or petrol residue?

i have used waxpol paste polish, it removes minor scratches, like near door knobs, but gives almost no shine.

i have heard of ice wax polish but it is too expensive so i won't use it.

now i have heard of 3 options

1. turtle paste wax

2. turtle liquid ptfe (claimed to contain teflon)

3. turtle platinum extra gloss

which one will give best shine on white car?

i have petrol car when i start it in the morning(or even in the afternoon) i.e. cols start, it gives lots of white smoke which smells like burnt petrol. it is definitely not steam because smoke is heavy and it stays, it is also not engine oil because smoke appears white and goes away when fuel is shifted to natural gas.

also it goes away when engine is started hot or it becomes hot.

what is it then? is petrol not burning properly?

i connot install windows as befor windows setup even loads computer automatically restart, neither i can run windows pe, when i conducted memtest i get, 'unexpected interrupt, halting cpu0' , i tried to reset cmos, after resetting cmos i started my computer memtest passes, and i could also install windows but after restart the same problem occurs?

initially i got 2-3 blue screens before my computer went bad completely, no i cannot even install windows as even before install screen BSOD appears and computer restarts, when i ran memtest it said 'unexpected interrupt--halting cpu 0' at test#7 68%. what the issue? is it cpu or motherboard or ram, i had 2 rams tested both, problem not solved. could it be psu?

i m using Google chrome, this is a new problem i m facing, whenever i click on any new link it takes lots of time to load and in the title bar the circle keeps revolving ant-clockwise before downloading starts and at the bottom it shows 'connecting' or 'waiting for ......' and it takes a long to download page. pages even do not download properly eg. images are misssing etc. sometimes pages even wont load and go blank without any error...just white page. speed is good and normal as usual the problem started one month befog and before that it was working perfectly.

i have zen estilo 2007 petrol+CNG, i don't know what engine knocking is but it sounds like this 'tak-tak-tak' 2-3 per second not too loud but audible all around the cabin and car. the noise magnifies with acceleration and specially when ac is on, in mostly 3rd gear, either there is no sound in idling or it is in inaudible, however car runs well in CNG, no matter which gear or rpm-its soundless in CNG.

ok ok...i isolated the issue....when i take acceleration i.e press gas pedal too quickly when car is in gear it makes that noise however if i increase acceleration gently and slowly noise doesn't come. i can retard or stop such noise by easing gas pedal. pls explain why this happens
