I'm going around to my mother's at the weekend.

    1. Let's go to grandp's tomorrow. = Let's go to grandpa's (house, office, grave, ....) tomorrow.

    2. I went to my grandm's yesterday = I went to my grandma's (house, office, grave, ...)

(gram) possessive, showing possession; that something belongs to somebody "hers" is possessive.  the possessive case, eg:-mother's; possessive pronoun,eg:-hers; possessively=adverb.eg:-That's hers ! she said possessively

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    my mother's "home"

    =my mother's

    =possessive case (pronoun)

    =The house belongs to hers

    =The house is hers

    =possessive genitive(pronoun)

    My mother's house

    =her house

    =possessive adjective

eg:-I'm going around to my mother's house which is hers--possessive case--at the weekend.
