Why do electoral college advocates keep implying that it was “the little guy” who elected Chump?

Electorally, if he had lost Texas, he would have lost everything.

The money that went to Trump's election came from small donors. Hillary's came from special interests, lobbyists, and political entities.

But he didn't because the "little guys" in Texas voted for him.

Of course if the votes had been different the election would have been ended differently. That is common sense, But he did not lose Texas (or any of the other states he won.) So the question is pointless.

Making up a "what if" situation and using that to try to support an argument is not very logical.

I am glad the election turned out the way it did. The idea of having Mrs. Clinton as president is abhorant to me.

Working class voters (the classic “little guy”) in swing states finally expressed their entirely justified disgust with both idiotic Democrat policies and the crappy, detached presidential candidate from the Democrat Party and decided to vote for Trump. Deal with it.

You are implying that. Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina are the big guys who helped elect Trump to make America Great.
