In islam is it justifiable to kill those who insult the prophet?
I've spoken to many imam about the atrocities in Paris and events like the banning of youtube in countries like Pakistan, and they all say it is justifiable because it is directly insulting the prophet.
even less extreme imam said it is justifiable to kill the head chief of the newspaper for organizing Charlie Hebdo.

What a bunch of impotent cry babies. Only psychotic people would justify murder for name calling, of someone that has been dead for over a thousand years.

Most religions, including Islam and Christianity, include laws like that. Keep in mind that these texts were written in a very different time and most followers today do not support actions like that.

Jesus was insulted, belittled, betrayed, and murdered. He did not kill anyone because of it nor did He teach others to kill because of that. Islam makes no sense. Killing because someone insults your "prophet" is crazy and unjustified.

you know the answer is yes. moslems race to be in heaven, just like christians do. and according to their quran killing those who insult mohammed is a shortcut to heaven. its simple logic based on their faith.
