Is it allowed in Islam to be happy?

no dating and no music is one. Not being able to swim in a public pool if you're a woman is another. Not being able to drive or have substantial votes in Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern country is another. Chanting "death to jews/americans" is another.

    Some human beings who choose or are forced to practice Islam are human beings nevertheless with the usual social needs and a full range of emotional experiences among which are the ability to laugh, smile and be happy. Dating, music, driving etc are activities with different amounts of interest for different people. Chanting for the genocide of any people seems ungodly, immoral and causative of great unhappiness and retributive justice. Let's believe that Allah wants His creation to be happy

    You are a liar. You are not and have never been a Muslim because a Muslim would be smart enough to know the difference between a government setting rules and the rules of the religion.

    You clearly know nothing of Islam.
