Male circumcision reduces sexual pleasure even more than female circumcision, so why do we do it to boys, but outlaw it for girls?

Males and females are of course different, but Male and female genital cutting are pushed for the same reasons -- lower sexual pleasure, primitive ideas about hygiene, religion, looks and claims about disease avoidance. The most prevalent FGM is the cutting of the clitoral hood (not the clitoris) and it is often done in a hospital setting. Some women claim the sex is fine, say it is cleaner and they want it done to their daughters. The people that push female circumcision say it is not mutilation. There have been medical claims that female circumcision lowers HIV transmission to the circumcised woman.

Many people in the US recite almost a memorized blurb about FGM not being comparable to MGM, that it is done with broken glass (some MGM is done this way too), it is only done to lessen se xual pleasure (that is the basis and historical purpose of MGM). With some varieties of FGM less pleasure sources are removed than MGM and many cut women say se x is great, its cleaner (same BS as in the US) and they want to do it to their daughters). These folks that feel the need to trivialize/defend male circumcision don't get it that FGM is done for exactly the same reasons as MGM and there are the similar circumfreaks claiming lower HIV risk and "benefits" to these heinous FEMALE CIRCUMCISION practices.

This memorized FGM knee jerk reaction is absurd. If you count the nerves cut, MGM is worse than the most typical FGM. That may not be meaningful, but why can't we all agree that cutting genital parts of another human is wrong per se. Who cares if one is worse, compare or not, just stop the baby mutilations.

So are women's genitals more valuable than men's?

Because Judaism requires it, and we aren't allowed to argue with accepted religions. Doctors also used to consider that male circumcision is hygienic and reduces disease, so it used to be done on all American boys. Fortunately I'm British and not Jewish, so I still have my foreskin. At least doctors are now starting to realise that hygiene can also be achieved by a little thing called "washing"!

The foreskin of the penis does not contain that many nerves, erroneous or otherwise. You're thinking of the glans, and why are you saying the nerves are a mistake? And the female organ is the clitoris.

(in U.K. it is called bribery) to ensure that

legislation in Parliament did not include boys.

Because female circumcision isn't about the same thing as male circumcision. Male circumcision is religious. Whereas Female circumcision was created out of cruelty. Do you know what it actually is? It's sewing together both labia to ensure the female is a virgin when she is married, this makes it so when the girl does get married, or even raped, they have to forcefully rip her open. And in some cases the clitoris is fully removed so the girl can't receive any gratification while having sex.

Female circumcision is also called female genital mutilation. Because that's what is is: mutilation.
