Liberals if people can not refuse someones business?

Liberals if people can not refuse someones business because of their beliefs or a difference of opinion then why are some Liberals attacking some gays that hosted a political event for Ted Cruz?

By your reasoning it would be illegal for him not to do business with them.

So why are they now being threatened with a boycott for following the law as you interpret it?

Boycotting and refusing are two different things. Refusing to bake a cake and boycotting a hotel/restaurant because of the owner's actions are different. But face it, paling around with Cruz in most anywhere in NYC is a tough sell. He'll never win the state, he's just there to fund raise which he has every right to do. If peer pressure/economic pressure come to bare on these guys then they also have to look in the mirror and realize they asked for it. Just like the baker refusing to bake the cake. It's America, you're free to say anything you want in the public square. Just note that doesn't mean it will be popular, liked, or even loved. Free to say what you want, but also entitled to be free and take the consequences of said oratory or actions. Best luck.

There is a difference between refusing to do business with someone and boycotting a business or individual.

You can't refuse to do business with a bigot because he's a conservative right wing Christian whose also a self loving loon. But you can boycott him and and any business that does business with him

  • Why only ask the Liberal branch of our huge diverse Democratic party?

The two gay hotel owners have some regret that they hosted anti-gay (latent homosexual himself) Canadian-born teabag extremist Ted Cruz for his hate fest. The point is that they did allow the lunatic Cruz to do his thing in their hotel, even though they strongly disagree with Cruz's stance on basically everything.

Fundamentalist "religion" of public business owners is not enough for them to have a right to discriminate against any American based on gender preference. The United States is NOT a "Christian" nation and is especially not the biblical-literalist got-it-wrong narrow-minded hate-spewing version of "religion" that the GOP peddles. Homosexuals have the right to patronize businesses who make use of our taxpayer-funded roads, airwaves, and other taxpayer-funded benefits...and homosexuals also have religious beliefs that are at least as important and maybe even more valid than the bigoted version of these biblical-literalist haters. If the haters do not want to sell to homosexuals, then shut down and become a private members-only club.

Liberals will boycott a bakery or pizza place for refusing to cater a gay wedding, but now they'll also boycott a hotel owned by gay people just for hosting an event for a republican! I guess gays don't like cake, pizza, OR staying in hotels for some reason!

Because you're judging ALL liberals by the actions of a few.OR, you're one of this idiots that thinks that all liberals think exactly the same way. I'm guessing you do these a lot.

refusing business based on someones color, beliefs, or sexual orientation is absurd.

It is a bit hypocritical that gays can be angry about some small town pizza place but republican gays can be totally maligned. It's all about what they believe not actual fairness.

OH but they can! The thing is, you need to be liberal though. Lobbies can kick Chic-fil-A off their campus because they are Christian and for no other reason.

Ted Cruz hates everybody and for anybody to host the creep means they hate everybody too.
