Big multinational companies like those you list in your question are able to use hoards of TAX specialist lawyers to enable them to exploit tax loop holes in rules and regulations of various countries so that they can pay the least amount of TAX , In some ways you can't blame them since its not them who at fault but the weak politicians who contrive tax law and make it so complicated in the first place. But since it has now been brought to the attention of joe public the enormous amounts of money being made by such companies that is virtually tax free , its time that people showed their disgust at the companies involved and stopped using them. Last christmas i spent a couple of grand using amazon because it was convenient, this year iv spent zero which has caused me to look around more for deals in shops that do pay their taxes. Since i dislike starbucks coffee or use google not using them is no hardship for me.

Got to admit, I use google from day to day basis it's hard to do with out.
Starbuck's doesn't interest me. Over rated, and there prices are too much for a cup of coffee.
Amazon, i've just brought something off but saved my self £30.. There's no way I'd go to currys and spend the extra £30 quid just because they didn't pay the taxes i'm afraid.
What they did was wrong yes, but like I said, I've gotta live, gotta save..

I've never used Amazon or Starbucks, but Google's too useful. But it's a little ***** these days whenever I want to perfectly legally download songs from Youtube via a Third Party...

NO and I wont , this is just a side track to divert attention from the real problem of the rich using loopholes to avoid tax and there are more holes in the system than in a fishing net , Osbourne and Danny boy's staff have most likely been told to go easy because they dont want to upset their sponsors

No. Good luck to Starbucks and Amazon. You can bet that most MPs have offshore accounts.

This is the real world. If I can get a Murder She Wrote box set a quid cheaper on Amazon than on a site which has been approved by the fairtrade brigade, then so be it.
