This is a typhoon report the Hong Kong Observatory at 3:00 p.m.

Typhoon signal number 8 was hoisted at 2:55 p.m. Typhoone Leonardo is hearding towards Hong Kong.It is now about 320 km south-east of Hong Kong.It is expected that the thphoon will move north-west at the speed 40 km/h.And it will be closest to Hong Kong by mid-night.Typhoone Leonardo will be stronger than the last Typhoone Wallace.Pleasd take the following precautionary measures now:

1.Lock all the windows and doors.

2.Fix the large window in the exposed position with adhesive tape.

3.Do not stand near te window that is isn the exposed positon.

4.Make sure that you have a shelter if the windows are broken.

5.The owners of neon signs should mske sure that the signs are properly fixed.

6.Park your car at a safe place.

There will be a typhoon report every fifteen minutes.
