What Anime/Manga characters should we be?

Kiki's dress should be blackish blue or something, or just black, I really doubt anybody would recignize it as Kiki, they'd just go oh that's nice, what a nice outfit. It's a recignizable character if you're wearing it, but other than that I think it'll go over people's heads. However, all of the pictures I see on google have her wearing either back or navy blue. So both, it seems.

I'd reccomend for the tween to go as a modest Japanese schoolgirl. Plenty of designs to choose from, very simple to make, but way cooler than Kiki. The socks are also very simple to make, and it's a good choice.

Also your kimono, I'd reccomend wearing dress pants with it. It'll look nicer.

Kiki's dress should be off-black. I suggest Hisoka Kurosaki from Descendants of Darkness for the tween too. It's not hard. Basically street clothes. Same with Demon Lord Raenef V from Demon Diary

If it's going to a con, and you plan clothes that can be in the spirit, but not too cosplay-ish, then my suggestion would be coming as a decent schoolgirl. With the uniform bag. :D

Or if crossdressing is your type, you can go as a random "Shounen A". Just wear what Japanese Otaku usually do...backpack, cap, jeans, and an ordinary t-shirt or tucked in polo shirt. XD

Kiki's dress always looked like a dark blue-black to me. She IS a little Witch after all! =)
