when u break a magnet into 2, both act as magnets,that is both have a north & south pole each.in both these pieces the corresponding north & south poles remain on the sides as in the original magnet.this means that the 2 broken sides must get oppositely polarised.but experiments have shown that immediately after breaking the 2 pieces run in opposite direction,theritically that is,they get similarly polarised(ie:North-North or South-South on each broken side).how is this possible?(this is experimental data.if its a wrong observation let me know.but answer only if u actually know,preferably with proof)

also, will the strenth of both the cut pieces be mutually equal irrespective of their relative sizes?& if yes,is this magnitude = to the srtength of original magnet.

yesterday, something bit me on my right thumb, but i donno what it was.at first i thought it was only a mosquito, so i didn't bother much,coz mosquito bites don't hurt much.but some hours later, the area got red, n de bitten part swollen.it started itching n it pained. i took some homeopathic medication.this morning, the whole of my thumb got red & swollen n it hurts me bad.the thumb's got gigantic. i'm continuing on the medication, but it doesn't seem to work much. probly i'll wait a day to see if it reaally is working, but i want some other more effective remedy. today was supposed to be my 1st day in kitchen, but i've already dropped the idea.but plz help.its hard to work with a swollen thumb n specially wen i'm a rightie.

now i want 2 see the movie even mor badly.

the thing is, the movie has been released world over on 12/12/2008, except in india..........

n now, me n my twilight-maniac frnds r tryin our best 2 make the movie release here.that's crazy coz i'm sure the ovie's gonna do a great-great-great bzness here. we indians r sooo in luv wid twilight, we're absolutely mad that they're skipping india
