afraid是形容詞 (adjective)只有動詞(verb)才有分現在式過去式

以下幾個字都是afraid驚的意思, 也是過去式

解釋 : afraid是形容詞，不是動詞。to repeat不是等於留班，repeat之後應有object，才算完整。

Afraid is an adjective and there's no past tense for it. You will only say " somebody afraid of something" .

If you want to use verb, you can try "frighten" or "scare" and the past tense of them is is "frightened" and "scared".
