Should Steven Colbert...?

run as an independant if he receives no organized party support? Would you vote for him?

更新:

I know he is a comedian. The point I'm trying to make is this... Who do you think would do a better job as president? A comedian who has a better understanding of the political based foolishness who is new to politics or a career politician who has no insight on how foolish politics affect normal life? I'm curious to see how this is percieved. Remember Ross Perot didn't have much of a chance until he addressed real issues. He did well until he showed how unstable he was.

Yes. If Colbert were to enter into one of these republican debates, his comedy routine would be pretty much indistinguishable from the serious efforts of the other republicans.

No, because he's just a comedian doing a "bit" to get higher ratings for his show.

I hope he runs. He will take a lot of votes away from the Democrats.
