It's Friday afternoon and I have an important business presentation next Friday out of town that I have to leave for on Thursday. My Dell Inspiron needs a new motherboard and they have to order a new part that won't arrive for 3-5 business days. Of course the laptop died 1 month after the warranty ended (I had the laptop for 13 months and the warranty was only good for 12). A laptop is an expensive purchase for me and I'm not looking forward to spending $500 for another one. To fix it will cost $300 and I was using it for work. Do I get it fix and not have it for my presentation I have a tablet, but I won't really be able to present on that or buy a new one and give the old one to my wife who won't use it?

I was offered for Ryan Matthews Heath Miller. The other owner has Tim Wright and Antonio Gates. I currently have Gio and MJD at the RB position along with B. Jacobs on my bench. Currently Scott Chandler is my TE. Should I pass or make a play for the other 2?

PPR league, with return yds (10yds/pt)

In return I would get DeAngelo Williams and Marlon Brown. It's a keeper league with PPR and I get points for return yards. MJD in the short term is hurting me, but it's not like DeAngelo has done much better. Or am I wrong?

My wife and I have been very clear to our neighbor about this situation. It's bad enough they don't keep the boxer on a leash (it's a very friendly dog, I must admit), but when they let it out the house it heads to my yard and poops. Their idea of controlling it is yelling out to stay on their side of the yard, then sometimes they don't bother to clean it up. I'm tempted to start putting it on their back porch, but I'm aware that I can't do that, and as of recently, I can't afford to blow my temper and do something stupid again (unrelated incident). What do I do now since no one seems to be at home and it's in my backyard and of course, I have to cut the grass today.

I have new neighbors that moved next door and they have a dog. After a nice, relatively warm, weekend, the snow melted in my backyard to expose a ton of dog feces every where. There is also a huge pile right in front of my house in my front yard. There is no fence and I really don't want to put one up since I have a tiny yard. I have every intention of talking to the neighbor tonight about this, but what should I do about the stuff in my yard? And how do I keep the dog out of mine? Does moth balls and cayenne pepper actually work? Should I just rake all their dogs feces into their side of the driveway or yard?

Several members of my fantasy football league want to do this starting next year. They are talking about 1 or 2 keepers. I'd rather not be apart of one for several reasons:

1. We have a few members that like to trade. Whether it's players or draft picks, only 1 or 2 people are afraid to make deals. I'm concerned that the ones afraid to make deals would increase. For example, Calvin Johnson, AP, as well as other "keepers" get traded for rather fair deals. My concern is that people will be afraid to trade these level of players and they now become hands off. This leads to...

2. No future trade deals. Right now we don't make deals for next year draft picks. In order to trade high level players, this may be the only remedy since the only real value of a keeper is another keeper (IMO). I really don't want that to happen because...

3. There's no guarantee that people will return the next year. We have a solid 8-10 people. The most we've had was 14 players, but most years it's been only 12 (we've been doing this for 11 years). Although turnover is rare, it does happen. What happens when these guys start to trade their keepers on the way out? The incoming replacement teams cupboard may be left bare. We have a few people that would do that (including myself).

4. The draft order is random every year. There is no reward for being the best team or the worst team. The draft the following year will once again be randomized. So the team with the 2 best keepers can, in theory, have the first pick of the draft, and if they plan correctly, multiple 1st rounders! Depending on how bitter I (or someone else) are towards the trade deadline, I could trade some decent players to a strong divisional opponent to guarantee that someone in my division wins so our division becomes the host city. We have family members in the same division and although one lives in my town, would love to go see his family member and has made questionable moves in the past with his family member.

Am I just over thinking things and I'm just afraid of change? Or, am I missing something?

I don't want to take my snow thrower into a Sears to fix it again. Last year, I had the same issue and they had it for 2 weeks. This would not be a big deal in March or April, but this is January in an area where it's known to snow quite a bit. Is it possible to take those kind of tires into local shops? Will I have to remove the tire myself? I'm not exactly the most handy person, but if it's easy I'd give it a shot.

I'm looking to replace the legs of a dining room table. Should I call the manufacturer or the store to replace the legs? It's not under warranty and the table top is fine. Can I go to local retailer to replace the legs?

This time last week I was pleasantly happy with my Samsung Captivate, but yesterday I dropped it on my way to the gym and it landed right on the screen and it's cracked beyond repair. Fortunately, my contract was up and it's time for me to get a new phone. My choices are the Skyrocket S II or the Note.(I'm aware the Galaxy S3 is going to be out very soon in the US, but do I or should I wait?)

The Skyrocket from what I've seen is an updated version of what I currently have. My phone was pretty fast since I updated it so the only thing I get out of it is a screen that works.

The customer service guy then showed me the Note. I thought it was too big at first until I got my hands on it, and well, I love it. The problem I have with it is that I'm doing a lot of running and I'm afraid this phone would just be too big to use in the gym or outside. Can anyone with this phone share there experiences or should I just wait until the S3 is released and get the S2 after the price drop?

Honestly, I don't want a new phone I was happy with the Captivate so it's a sad day for me.

Any suggestions? My mom wouldn't care, but my mother in law seems to like nice plants.
