I need to raise 12,000 dollars in no more than 7-8 months!?
I want to raise 12,000 dollars to build a water pump in Africa through this website called "the water project". They have the option to create a fundraising page on their website which I can link to people so they can donate. Is online crowd sourcing in a small community and bake sales/car washes enough to raise atleast 12,000 dollars?
The reason I say 7-8 months is because I plan on starting this project in March and want it to last the whole summer

no offense to that site, but there are already organizations that do the same well drilling / finding water thing - Samaritan's Purse and Operation Blessing are two of them..........each has many people who donate so the cost to build is far less..........and to answer your question - you would have to sell a lot of baked goods @ maybe $ 1 each to get enough money............I wish you well
