Someone please help me get over the fact that James Franco is a genius?

He's been educated at more than 5 universities. Studied theater at Columbia (albeit for one year), and received his PhD in English from Yale University. Why doesn't he come off as more intelligent within and outside his acting career?

    While James was filming Spiderman 3 he reenrolled at UCLA to complete his English major and received special permission to take on 62 credits per term, 3 times as many as is typically allowed.

    You have probably answered your own question, just because he has so may degrees, DOES NOT mean he is a genius or even intelligent, otherwise it would show up in and outside his career. A PhD in English from ANY American University is no guarantee of intelligence, or even,(more likely) literacy.
