Previous question: Atheists, what was the origin of all matter of the universe?

Since you blocked me I can't answer, but the origin of matter is the result of energy particle collisions in the early universe. Not only is this known, but it can be demonstrated in any particle collider. Not a mystery in any way.

更新:

@Nigel: Yes particle collisions. Energy can exist in a particle form. For example, light is made up of particles called photons. Under the right conditions, high energy collisions can create matter. As I already said, we do this regularly in particle colliders.

更新 2:

@Yossarian: Neat book, but he's wrong. Quantum fluctuations require negative energy provided by gravitational fields. No universe = no spacetime or mass. No spacetime or mass = no gravity. No gravity = no quantum fluctuations. Sadly, the origin of the singularity and what caused it to expand are still a mystery.

更新 3:

@Someone who cares: Not entirely true. Although, as I mentioned above, quantum fluctuations are ruled out of being the origin of the singularity in the big bang, they can indeed create matter from nothing.

更新 4:

@NDMA: We do not yet know the origin of the singularity or what caused it to expand, but when it did, it produced MASSIVE energy. So much so that collisions at EXTREMELY high velocities was not only possible, but inevitable. By the way, your understanding of what happens in particle colliders is very off. ENERGY particles (not matter) collide and PRODUCE matter under the right conditions. You just need to read more on the subject. You understanding is a basic over-view, not a true understanding.

更新 5:

@NDMA: "Perhaps you should try reading past the cover" -- That's a wrong assertion too. My info above is why he's incorrect. The math of quantum fluctuations shows that there is a slight lean on the phenomenon towards the matter side over the anti matter side. Usually both particles annihilate each other, but the lean towards the matter side allows for some matter to come out intact.

更新 6:

@NDMA: Here, read for yourself:

Cool, so where did he not yet existing material world get a particle colllider to make the matter?

As a follow up - a particle collider guides particles at very high speed - near the speed of light, along a pathway using magnetism. The result is particles collide and are broken apart. You are arguing the collision does the exact opposite of what is observed.

EddieJ: Perhaps you should try reading past the cover - even the author admits he failed to make the case and that his scenario is impossible because if it were as he asserted there should be equal amounts of antimatter in the universe.

Math is nice but you seem to be avoiding one thing. We have actual experiments showing the conversion of energy into matter. In those experiments that conversion was the product of consciousness. The conscious attempt to measure the particle - therefore not just a blank consciousness but a willful consciousness. Your argument is based not on actual observations but math, theoretical physics. My position is based on observed results of experiments empirical science. Empirical science always trumps theoretical science because empirical science is based on actual evidence!

You certainly are free to disagree with any interpretation of the evidence, and I fully expect you will! But disagreeing with an interpretation of the evidence, is not a refutation of either the interpretation you disagree with, or the evidence itself.

I am aware of the mathematical bias you refer to, but the overwhelming evidence of negative and positive symmetry seen throughout natural systems in the universe makes that bias argument an argument based on the exception and for that exception to make a difference one must relay on miracles.

Has "American for America" , "Top Contributor American for America" changed their name to A4A?

    They have blocked many atheists.

It is not because the answers are insulting or impolite.

Not an athiest, but the origin of all matter is from other matter, or energy. God created the earth from existing materials. Matter cannot be created or destroyed, only changed form or to/from energy. God himself has been around forever, so has the matter he is made of.

That guy blocks everybody who admits they're an atheist. Then, he asks questions of atheists.

    Anyway, his post got deleted.

    Yup agreed.

I've said it before...I'll say it again, don't give that guy any attention.
