my mom's birthday present?

hi there , mom's BD is coming up in a month and I am thinking about giving her a new tv since she always sit so close to the old 32 inch, i asked her and she said she doesn't want anything and i will not be giving her money because everytime i do so she always put it back in my account. i want her to enjoy life since she is 66 year old could u recomend a good 50 inch plasma ? i have a 42 inch 3d samsung plasma in my room and she always said she like it more than the lcd outside , thanks

Birthdays can be tricky. Maybe it's just my family but my mum would be disappointed if I got her a tv. She'd want something more personal. She much prefers original things. For instance, I have inexpensive original art (paintings and photography, etc) and greeting cards for sale on my site if you want something special! Also, Etsy has loads of original art and great ideas. Plus this time of year and going into the holidays is the best time to browse because there's so much new stuff being added. I'm here:

Okay, here is what you do, trust me.
Go to a Best Buy, Costco, Fred Meyer, or any place that sells TV's
Talk to a sales rep and look at all of the tv's, once you have decided which one you like write down the model and info about it.
Go to Amazon.com and look up the TV, they will probably have it at a good price.

Take your mom to a spa instead. Get massages and then go to a nice dinner with her.

She doesn't need a TV that is clear, stop pushing one on her.

Take her to a nice place for dinner, something she would like....

so how about this... a nice spa, massages, maybe a makeover, then dinner, then a nice movie.

Appreciate every moment you have with her.
