Is capital punishment an outdated method why?

    - It does not work as a deterrent

    - Trials involving it are very expensive

    - Judicial errors cannot be corrected and the wrongly convicted person compensated for if he or she was executed

    - The whole concept is based on retribution. That however is not what the judicial system is about anymore.

    Depends on if you are a relative of a victim. Or the relative of the convicted.
