Help with Partial Fractions x^2/x+4?

int (x^2)/(x+4) dx

Degree of numerator is greater than denom so i long divide to...x-4 + 16/(x+4)

Not even sure if i divided correctly....after that does it just turn to x-4 + A/x+4???

AHHHHH

You already have the fraction! There is no partial fraction calculation here.

    Why don't you try u = x + 4 and see what happens?

You can also integrate what you found with the division .... Can't you see that A = 16?

Have your teacher explain to you again "partial fractions".
