How to run HD audio through the back of a PC?

I just got a PC with an ATI Radeon HD 6870. I have put the setup - DVI from the GPU to HDMI on the monitor which is 1080p full HD. The headset that i am using is the Turtle Beach x11.

I can only hear audio if i plug the jacks and the USB amplifier into the top of my computer. Is there a way how i can run it in HD, but plug the jacks and USB cable into the back of the PC so they are out of my way?

Thanks,

I think your PC has multi streaming audio. By default audio of graphic card will be disabled and so you get audio from mother board. Again on mother board there are 2 outputs ie rear audio and front audio. If you connect to front audio the rear audio will automatically disabled. If you want to use rear audio then you have to disable front audio. If you want rear audio through HDMI then you have to disable rear and front audio of your mother board.

    Hope this will help you..............
