i applied for a home loan and this mortage company called me , they said my credit is too low ( 527 ) but they can try to do the credit repair to get it up abouve 580 ( that's the minimum they will go for for first time home buyer ) they charge $99 set up and $79 a month , i know what credit repair is and i already filed the disputed on all of the paid negative account , how long do u think my credit will go up, i heard that if you filed for the dispute and the creditor doesnt response for 35 days the account will be delete , if the account is delete ( negative ones ) will my credit score go up? thanks
maybe i misunderstood everyone. all those negative account had been " paid for " and closed but they showed things like 5 past due etc etc but they all paid for , i don't even have any debt that's why i'm wondering if it will help my score up again people all those debt had been paid for, thanks

Many have been able to get negative items removed long before 7 years.
Most of them have incorrect information and the CRAs remove them instead of fixing them.
The 35 days you are talking about is correct but in most cases they will send some kind of response before the 35 days is up.
I think it is 35 days for written and mailed disputes and 45 days for online disputes.
Why would you pay someone to repair your credit? You can fix the mistakes yourself!
The past dues will still show for the 7 years unless you are able to get it removed. Just because you paid it you were still late and it will remain on your report.
You need some positives to get your score moving.
It will take months before your credit hits 580 as you need to get some positives on your report and wait for the CRAs to respond to your disputes.
Do not pay anyone to repair your credit period.

Suzy....here's a speedy and convenient scan to peer if this can be a legitimate enterprise. Ask them to signal a agreement mentioning they'll entirely repair your credit score. Put it in writing what your target is and if they'll assurance they are able to do it. It seems like you're watching to shop for a residence, and you have got a pair bad models? Will that state IN WRITING that they're going to get those eliminated? I'm going to guess they would possibly not do it. Why? Because so long as the knowledge in your credit score file is "reasonable and correct" it are not able to legally be eliminated. There are most effective 2 approaches you'll be able to get a bad object deleted from a credit score file. a million) The creditor have to delete it. two) The creditor fails to reply to a credit score bureau research request. A credit score fix company are not able to get it eliminated. A attorney are not able to do it both. Everything a credit score fix company does, you'll be able to simply do your self. It simply takes a bit schooling. But in the event you particularly wish a credit score fix enterprise to do it, that is satisfactory. Just move into this manage your eyes open, and observe you're paying them to do some thing with NO GUARANTEE it's going to paintings (and without doubt would possibly not). Look on the hyperlinks I've offered....coach your self.

- Per your update, paid negative items will still stay on your credit report for 7 years from the original default date. Disputing accurate negative info will not remove the items before this time period is up.
- With a credit score of 527, you should not ever be considering a mortgage unless you have a gigantic down payment. If they do qualify you, the terms would be really bad and you can set yourself up to fail (read: foreclosure). You want at least 650 at a bare minimum. It sounds like this company is more interesting in ripping you off rather than qualifying you for a mortgage.
“Credit repair” firms have no special power to delete accurate negative info. All they do is dispute (and re-dispute) every negative item on your credit report and hope that the credit bureaus cannot validate the info. If the credit credit bureaus cannot validate the items in 30 days, then they are obligated to remove the items completely from your credit report.
I don’t advise trying to dispute accurate negative info to repair your credit score, but if you’re going to do this anyway, then save yourself some money and write your own dispute letters. Here’s a guide: http://www.creditinfocenter.com/repair/Repair.shtm...

disputing doesn't mean solving, and although they might remove it then when the rotational reporting of that same company comes around again the same amount will appear on your credit report. You need to "solve" the situation not just dispute it. When you said they charge $99 set up and $79 a month I'd say if you really wish to consolidate your bills that you could call CredAbility (used to be called Consumer Credit Counseling) and it's a government program instead of the mortgage company that called you. I'm sure you know that any company you go with will ask you to cut up your credit cards when they take you on as a client. Frankly you sound to me like you'd like to keep your credit cards. So I'd say solve those situations. Like get a second job and pay them off if they are in arrears.

If the only items reporting on your credit report are the negative items - having them show paid may not increase your score, especially if the items are over 2 years old. If you only have a few of these accounts I would do the work myself and save your money.

You need to check out this video on how to increase your credit score by using a 100% legal loophole. Here is the video URL: http://www.creditscoresecret.org/
I was able to get to 595 from 489 in just one day and from 489 to 748 in just a few week; that's pretty fast in my book. Good luck!

Before forking over that kind of money for credit repair, I would recommend you call a credit repair expert to find out if the incorrect information is indeed removable (many websites offer free consultations. I put a link to one such site below). If so, your dispute letters should help improve your score by removing incorrect information.
Also, you should compare the dispute letter you sent to the sample dispute letter posted on the FTC website (also linked below).

You can repair your credit on your own.
Why you would want to hand over $99 and then $79 a month is beyond me.
