What about a remake of "Easy Rider?"?

I've always thought Owen Wilson was a dead-ringer for Dennis Hopper, and Christian Slater is Jack Nicholson's clone, but who should play the Peter Fonda role?

I know that, I was just posing the question for anyone who might have an amusing or interesting answer.

It doesn't matter that the characters in the original were killed, or whether a remake would actually get made. I don't even care about that. I am just posing the question as to WHO would or could play those same roles IF the film were made today.

Just to clarify: I'm talking about a REMAKE, with new actors playing the original characters--who are entirely FICTITIOUS. I'm not talking about a SEQUEL--obviously if the characters were killed off they could not appear in a sequel.

    why have a remake, they all got killed in the first one. i meant no disrespect to you, when the main characters are gone i can't see a remake of this movie
