Pharaohs were deities and as such could be worshiped and admired, but addressing them by their real names or even the assumed ones they received upon becoming Pharaohs would have been an act of blasphemy. A Pharaoh's court was very highly ritualized and there was little privacy in a Pharaoh's life, losing the right to be called by his or her name was a part of it.

Think its because it was showing they are special egyptians. Same as saying why don't we call teachers by their first name?

i think it because they were considered gods. maybe they were above a common name; they were to be called something special that no one else could be called.
