Anyone know of any homemade cat toys?
I'm a little tight on money and was wondering if anyone knew of any homemade cat toys. I've googled some and made those but my cat loses interest so fast.
11 個解答Cats9 年前Can someone tell me if my kitten is weird/skittish/something else?
please keep in mind that i have NEVER had a cat before, this is a stray, and i think he's about 6 months old (based on what i've read on the internet, although i know it's difficult to judge a cat's age).
i just don't understand cat behavior hahaha.
if i'm coming up to my kitten (who has been around for about 3 weeks), sometimes he'll raise his back and turn sideways. i read online that cats do this if they feel threatened, etc. however, he doesn't hiss or try to attack me, he just does the back thing.
i've tried making myself known before i come up to him by saying his name, clearing my throat, or just plain making some type of noise. i figured by now he knows i feed him and keep him around lol but i dunno? cats confuse me
3 個解答Cats9 年前How do I immerse myself into the deaf community?
Hi! I am a hearing person, I have hearing parents, and I know absolutely no one who is deaf or who knows sign language. I'm learning sign language, but I find it difficult to sign with other people when I haven't met them, haha. So I was wondering how I could meet deaf people? I'm from Houston, and I've already seen houstondeafnetwork.com but it says nothing about hearing people. That also leads me to wonder if my actions would seem rude to someone who is deaf? Thanks for any help!

5 個解答Fashion & Accessories1 十年前rooming with my best friend in college?
okay! so my best friend and i are possibly going to the same college. if we do, she wants to room with me. .. i don't know if i want to room with her? we would most likely get along fine b/c we've been best friends for 7 years or so and we know each other's habits, tendencies, etc.
HOWEVER everyone keeps telling me to find a new person.
welllll, i'm thinking if i roomed with her that i would room with someone i know and then meet people who i don't.
but if i don't, then i meet a new person instantly and i can still meet up with her.
not sure what to do :\

2 個解答Community Service1 十年前How much should I charge to walk dogs?
I am 17 years old, I live in Houston, Tx. (It is soooooooo freakin' hot.)
I was thinking $10 per walk. I don't like charging per minute/hour/time. :\
And then I was wondering - do walkers usually drive over to pick up the dogs? Because I can't have them drop their dog off (I have dogs).
OR should I just walk one dog at a time? That seems a bit smarter.

he's a pom.
it was a cooked bone.
i'm assuming he's trying to poop it out.
he's eating regularly, and isn't whimpering or seem in pain, except for his butt.
he checks on the bleeding himself.
it's not even a DARK red blood, it's just shy of being red, maybe fruit juice red.
should i be concerned?
is there any way to bandage it?

8 (4 ounce) boneless pork loin chops
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
2 pinches ground allspice
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups apple cider
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup half-and-half or cream
DIRECTIONS
This recipe's Ingredients were scaled to yield a new amount. The directions below still refer to the original recipe yield of 2 servings.
Season pork chops on all sides with 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper; set aside. Combine the flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, nutmeg, and allspice in a plastic bag. Toss pork with seasoned flour to coat, and shake off excess.
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until lightly smoking. Sear pork until golden brown on each side, about 3 minutes per side. Pour in apple cider and bring to a boil. Turn heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until pork is fork tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove pork and keep warm; increase heat to medium-high. Dissolve cornstarch in the chicken broth, and stir into simmering cider; cook for a minute or two until thickened. Stir in the half-and-half and simmer until hot. Serve sauce over the pork chops.
