  • How Do Mid-Quarter Grades Transfer to Other High Schools?

    So I will soon be moving to a different state, and will obviously be going to a different high school. I know all my classes from previous years are transferred, but how will my grades from the few weeks into 3rd quarter transfer to the other school, if at all? The quarter is only about half way over, so I don't have a grade for the whole quarter, and only semester grades really count to colleges. Some of my current grades could be better, and I could easily work them back up to an acceptable level if I had the rest of the quarter, but I'm wondering if the individual assignment grades for these few weeks into school count after I move.

  • Wine for Ubuntu 6.10?

    Where could I download this? I have the ISO file to upgrade to the newest version of Ubuntu... but it contains a .exe file which i need Wine (or another program to open .exe files, I'm open to suggestions) to open.

  • Problem with upgrading Ubuntu?

    So my dad found his old Linux computer and let me have it... Only problem I have now is upgrading it to 9.04 from the 6.10 that I have.

    I went to the official website, and the version I have is considered obsolete and I can't upgrade directly to 9.04 because it says not to download until any previous versions have already been upgraded to.

    So, to me it seems like I need to upgrade multiple times,

    (6.10 -> 7.10 -> 8.10 -> 9.04)

    but the problem is that 7.10 is also obsolete and I can't download it.

    Can someone with some good Ubuntu experience help me out here?

    I have an HP M1522nf printer connected to the same wireless network as my computer, but I don't know what drivers/software I need to download, or how to find the printer from my computer.

  • How would one raise pitch of a song?

    I was just wondering, my music editor only allows me to change pitch in percentages... Is there an accurate percentage increase to raise the pitch of the whole song a semitone or half step?

    For example, 105% being 5% higher than the original

    1 - (Cos^2(x) / 1 + Sin(x)) = Sin(x)
