Scarred Music

Civalias songs are truly my favorite, like Something Real, Surprise Surprise, We ve Got Company. A song by Civalias also played in Grey s Anatomy. But what happened? I googled this question as well and sseemed to find no trace whatsoever. All of his music popped up in 2008 and thats about it. No more. What happened?

This just happened suddenly when i was just watching some youtube videos. I paused and minimized the page to get a snack, and when I came back, my desktop background was all black, and in the lower right hand corner it says "Windows 7, Build 7601, This copy of Windows is not genuine". I restart my computer and when it turns on again, it gave me the option to "Get Genuine now". I clicked that option and it lead me to a webpage to validate my Windows. I clicked validate now and right after I click run, it says there's an error trying to run the script so it asks if i would like to continue to run it. After all this, i tried looking for a Windows Installation disk. I find a recovery disk that GeekSquad gave to me after my laptop crashed a few years ago. Put in it my laptop, and I honestly didn't know what to do from there. I tried backing up my files on a brand new USB Flash drive, and there was another error saying that I need to check my backup disk? And at one point it did ask me for a recovery disk, it couldn't detect the one I already had in my laptop. I would get more into detail if I didn't have limited space to write here. Yes, i am a band geek 🎶 but i do want to learn more. Right now, i am learning piano, self taught on guitar (bass, acoustic, and electric), learning french horn from a friend in concert band, learning bass drum and snare from marching band, i have a teacher for violin, self teaching myself some cello, marimbas, and vibraphones. Im thinking of learning a woodwind, but what should I pick? I don't exactly want to learn another big instrument (for example, i am not interested in the bass clarinet) mostly because of problems taking that instrument home and bringing it back to school. What instrument should i learn next?

I am 14 in my freshman year, turning 15 in 3 months. I've been thinking alot lately about volunteering to teach younger children (mostly middle school students) on how to play certain instruments or get them started on playing music. I play about 6 instruments (piano, violin, bass and snare drum for marching band, bass guitar, electric/acoustic guitar). I've been involved in music for 6 years, and music is just something that I will always love. I want to teach other people how to get involved with music and let them love music like I do :) i have searched online some volunteer work, but most of them was to volunteer in playing gigs and shows which isnt exactly what I was looking for. What websites do you recommend I search through? And do you think I am old enough to volunteer now or should I wait a couple more years?

The back bottom molar wire on the right was bent just a little but it feels the same when i wear it (it's just more out a bit) but i have another ortho in 4 days, ahould i just wait then or call now?

He gave us music for a "stands repertoire", and it looks like a lot to memorize for marching band. What does stand repertoire mean? Does that mean we would have stands to read the music off of? Im new to the whole marching band thing so anything you could explain to me, that would be great

Im a 14 year old girl, and i just finished the 8th grade and im going into freshman year. Im in Marching band practice all summer, and to all you band geeks out there, you all know how hard the Marching Units work and practice. I had a full day of practice, 9 am to 6 pm. We jogged in the morning for PT (physical training) and i got tired halfway due to my asthma. We jogged again as a "game", and we jogged again because our Marching Director said we werent staying pumped enough to get the exercise right. But when we had lunch and a water break, my head has been throbbing the whole time and when i went home, and even now. Its been a pretty hot and humid day so could it be from the heat? Or is this normal? This has never happened to me jogging during regular school gym

My dad is usually the one person that i go to if im feeling depressed/sad/angry and he helps talk me through. I wouldn't say he spoils me either, but he gets me certain things that I want if I promise to try my best in school, which was okay, and I honestly, honestly tried. But then came 8th grade graduation. There were SPECIFIC things you needed to do to get certain awards/certificates. Getting over an 80 in your grades all year and perfect attendance were the easiest. But I didnt get any of them. I went home thinking "Awards aren't everything, I did try my hardest and the schoolwork was hard for me." Boy was I wrong. My dad hasn't talked to me through the entire car ride. He smoked outside and i ask my mother if he was mad, so she went to talk to him. I was taking off my shoes inside and overheard my father. "IM SO ******* DISAPPOINTED" and then i broke down shaking in my room, I couldn't believe he said that. I honestly tried SO hard to get good grades but it was hard! I feel like coming into highschool i will never make my dad proud, ever, and i relapsed. He gave me a lecture saying "why didnt you get anything? Is there some sort of problem that you couldn't get a single award?!" But i dont know what to do. He took away my summer saying I couldnt hang out with my best friend of 7 years anymore, and i couldnt text or even hang out anywhere. I dont know what to do. If i cant do anything but study over the summer, what's the point.. Im not even going to impress him anyway...

I bought 14g tapers and plugs 2 days ago, and i was stretching them that night and i didnt have enough time to stretch them up slowly so it would be less painful, and i had school the next day, so i had to take them out. My right ear was halfway on the taper already, but my left ear wasn't even close to half of the taper. So the next day, aka yesterday, i put the tapers back in after school and my right ear got all the way to the wide end and i immediatly put the plug in so it would start the healing process when i slept. My left ear just reached the middle of the taper, and again, i had to take it out because I ran out of time and i needed sleep. I checked my right ear today, and it wasn't swollen at all, no pain whatsoever, it was doing fine. My left ear however, it was 3/4 of the way up the taper, and i ran out of time again. I take them out once more, and i plan to try the taper again tomorrow because it'll be the weekend where i can stay up alot longer. I also massaged my left ear during class, and i realized that it was of course, a little sore. The area underneath the hole in my ear was also slighty painful and midly hard/less soft then the rest of my lobe. Is this a sign of a blowout? Or does my left ear just need more time for the stretching process?

I got a 14g today and stretched my right ear and put the plug in. Im guessing i sleep with it in to heal at that size? And i only stretched my right ear because i always felt pain in my left ear when i was pushing the taper a little farther in, unlike my right ear, where i felt pain only when i pushed it in too fast but i got it to the wider end by tonight already. I cant even get my left ear to stretch over half of the taper's length. I took out the taper on my left ear and it was a little red, and when i massaged it, i felt a kinda hard bump under/next to where the hole was. Should i wait for that to heal and then try stretching again? And how do i clean them when the plugs are in? Do i take them out everyday and then clean or do i leave them in? Please answer as much as you can, thank you!

I just got bought 14g tapers and plugs today and i havent put them in yet. My mother bought me vaseline to help slide the tapers in slowly, and antibacterial soup to wash them with daily. And how long do i keep the tapers in until i can put the plugs in?

I go to a public school, no it is not bible school, ccd, etc. it's just a regular public school. My situation was that my friend threw a book at me and i say "Jesus Christ" out of habit because it obviously hurt and scared me. Then my teacher looks over and starts yelling at me and my friend's general direction. But she doesnt yell at us for fooling around, she yelled at ME for saying "Jesus Christ". I don't have any problem with God, Jesus, etc. But im probably the least religious person. She yelled at me "Excuse me! You NEVER say that unless you're praying! You need Jesus!" I argued that I just said it out of habit, but she cant say that "I need Jesus" i have full respect for all religion, honestly, but I was extremely offended because her assistant suddenly pulls me out of class and asks me if im a Satanist because i wear black and i listen to "the screamy music" as she says. Obviously not, Im catholic myself. I do not mean any disrespect, but are my teachers really allowed to do this in public school?

I bought a new ps3 slim at best buy, and my dad said he bought a rockband set from a garage sale so i was like, What the heck, let's give it a try. It worked perfectly for the drums and the mic. But with the guitar, the previous owner lost the wireless adapter that goes with the guitar. I went on craigslist to see if anyone would be selling the adapter around my area, and there was no one local. I can't order from ebay because my parents do not allow me to order anything online (don't know why) so is there anywhere else i could find this adapter?

An im talking about a slave's work as a wagon master, during the time of the CIVIL WAR. Not a car company. Im starting a roleplay in school where the teachers are the seargents of a civil war boot camp, and we have a whole personality and occupation. Im a wagon master. And i want to know simply what a wagon master does, just in case im questioned

So i am planning on waiting till i pass highschool or when i turn 18 to get a piercing because i am only 14 right now and my parents definitely wouldnt approve of letting me get one at 14. They are very strict, and i tried to convince them to let me get one when im older since it's not permanent like a tattoo (i mentioned this because my dad has 3 large tattoos) and that i can take it out around them. They still said no. So im just going to get them eventually when i move out or something like that. By then, since i wont be living with my parents, would i be able to hide it by just staying out of their house? And if i were to get it now from a friend, would i be able to hide it by using clear balls on the bar, and just talking without having my mouth wide open, maybe chew some gum?

I have read a book called "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children" and i have just finished it this evening. Then i decided to search for new songs to listen to on youtube, and i found a song called Dead Hearts by Stars. The lyrics: "Please Please tell me what they look like, did they seem afraid of you?" Reminded me of the children in the book that other people couldnt see. And also the part where they sing "They were kids that i once knew" reminded me of his bond with all the kids and miss peregrine. And the mood of the song just reminded me of the whole story itself. What do you think?

I took a nap, and me and my mother were about to go to the music shop. I got up and the back of my head immediatly started pounding with pain and it's making me dizzy. Im starting to feel really warm, and it's still faintly pounding after about 10 minutes. It's not exactly a headache, but it just hurts. It doesnt feel like im going to vomit, it's not that kind of pain. What can i do to relieve this?
