Re-decorated headboard post-decoupage?
Years ago I decoupaged cut-out wallpaper fairies to my daughters bed headboards. I applied clear poly over everything and it s held up for years without peeling. Girls have far outgrown the fairies though and I d like to update headboards but fairies are unremovable since the poly sealed everything in. If I were to just paint the headboards you d still see a raised outline of the fairies. Headboards themselves are solid wood with a fair amount of curved/carved details with round knob corner posts, so I have that to contend with. Any ideas on how I can diy something to change these up?
1 個解答Decorating & Remodeling4 年前what game/toy is this?
There is a game/toy on the market now...it is a clear cylinder about 12-15" tall, 3" wide. It is filled with tiny multi-colored plastic bits as well as various small (1/2"-3/4") figurines/shapes. The idea behind it is the little shapes are hidden by the plastic bits; you turn and roll the tube while the bits shift around and you find the shapes. There is a list on the side of the cylinder for what to find. What's it called? I don't even know where I'd start searching online for it. I know where I can buy the darn thing; I'm trying to find online reviews as to if it's a good toy or not.

the stuff I find on lexile's website at this level is totally wrong for a 10 year old. She likes Harry Potter, fantasy, mystery, fiction, humor. Or do I say forget the lexile stuff and let her read whatever she wants to even if it's "too easy" by lexile's standards?

They're taking a long time to warm up and when warm, not nearly as hot as they used to be.

I need an example of a pyramid in real, ordinary life. Something you might find around the house.
5 個解答Mathematics1 十年前what's the book I'm thinking of?
I am trying to think of the title of a book I read as a teen around 20 years ago. It was about an overweight, snobby wealthy girl who ends up on a deserted island alone. She learns to find food, shelter, etc. By the time she is rescued she has lost all her extra weight, gotten strong, and more importantly gotten a decent personality. It reminds me a lot of the book Hatchet but this one is definitly about a girl. Does anyone know its title.

My daughters love webkinz. Can anyone tell me what the benefits are to getting a diploma from Kinzville Academy? Is it just to do it? It seems SO expensive (ha, like real college) to take each of the courses 6 times to get a badge.
Also, general webkinz question: how long have webkinz been around? How many years? I've only been hearing about them for a year or so.
Gem mining...so if you save your gemstone instead of selling it so you get the Crown of Wonder, what exactly does that get you? Just a crown? Can you sell a Crown of Wonder or your stones from your collection if you stop collecting?
If you have multiple pets, can you spin the wheel of wow/make wishes/play bingo for each one or is that a one-per-account thing. I hear of kids with many many webkinz and I wonder how they earn enough kinzcash to take care of all of them. Is your kinzcash communal?
One more thing, which arcade games pay off the best? Quizzies trivia pays well, but what about the game

What is an anchor point in relation to logarithms? I am helping a friend and don't remember these from my school days; perhaps they called them something different then. A simple explanation/description would be great. I am a "math" person so I should be able to understand.
1 個解答Mathematics1 十年前How can I make Tastefully Simple's Nana's Apple Cake at home from scratch?
I love the mix in the box but it's overpriced for what's in it. All you do is chop a couple of apples and stir in the mix plus two eggs, spread in a pan and bake. You add nothing else. Anyone know how to replicate this mix? You can see what it looks like at http://www.tastefullysimple.com/Cultures/en-US/Pro... Thanks.
