Questions for doxie owners?
2 個解答Dogs2 年前Why should I not feed dry food to my cat?
Many people feed dry. Why is this not a good idea. Read this article and rethink about feeding your cats dry food.
7 個解答Cats5 年前How many fish total can I put in a 15 or 20 gallon aquarium?
I usually go by the one gallon per one inch of fish (grown). Does this still apply? Only fish in the aquarium will be fancy guppies, neons and zebra fish.
Thanks.

Patsy G - you gave me Best answer but wanted to know where to get the wood stove pellets. You have no email for me to respond back to you.
I see you live in Texas. Check your local farm/feed stores for either the wood stove pellets or horse bedding pellets. Either should have them. Should be able to get a 40 lb bag for about $5.
6 個解答Cats7 年前Why are dew-claws removed?
I'm just curious as to why its done. Not that its wrong, but never understood why breeders do this for just about all breeds. I know with cats, no claws are (or should be) removed unless there is a major health problem.
9 個解答Dogs8 年前Do you know the difference between a reputable breeder and a backyard breeder?
When looking for a good breeder of purebreds, look for these signs. Just a few helpful tips.
Ten Commandments of a Reputable Breeder
1. The Reputable Breeder places puppies/dogs by contract.
2. The Reputable Breeder places puppies/dogs with a health guarantee.
3. The Reputable Breeder insists and contracts the return of a puppy/dog should the purchaser be unable to keep the puppy/dog.
4. The Reputable Breeder carefully interviews prospective owners and has specific requirements that are to be met IE; puppy/dog is to be altered if the breeder is not already practicing early altering, etc.
5. The Reputable Breeder is willing and able to educate the novice. He/she happily answers any/all questions regarding the breed and his/her breeding program.
6. The Reputable Breeder insists on being informed of any health, genetic, or behavioral problems the dog may develop in it’s lifetime.
7. The Reputable Breeder does not have more dogs/puppies then he/she is able to keep clean, healthy and well socialized.
8. The Reputable Breeder spends individual time with each of his dogs/puppies.
9. The Reputable Breeder is very concerned with excellent temperament in his/her dog/puppies as well as excellent health.
10. The Reputable Breeder makes him/herself available for advice and help to other breeders, and throughout the life of the dog he/she has placed.
If the breeder doesn't do this, then don't waste your time/money with that person.

Ok if someone approached you from a cat or dog food company and wanted to use your pet in advertising would you do it? What if the food they were using was NOT what you would feed your cat/dog cause you felt it was not the best? Would you still let them use your pet in advertising and take the money.......or turn them down and tell them why?
6 個解答Cats9 年前What did you do with your wedding rings after divorce?
Just curious as to what people would do or have done with their rings? For me, I saved it for my son and will be giving them to give (or trade) to his fiancee'. I had NO desire to wear them in any form after my divorce from my son's father.
What would you do (or did)?
17 個解答Marriage & Divorce9 年前What kind of cat would you never own and why?
For me I have 3 main cats I would never own.
1. Any long hair cat - I just do not have the time or patience to do the combing and grooming.
2. A munchkin (just do not like the deformity of short legs - cats are meant to leap high and climb)
3. A Sphynx - I like fur on the cat. Personalities of Sphynx are great, but no hair is a turn off for me.
