Are there specific motorcycle brands of injector cleaner .. i am having a starting issue in the extreme heat and its sudden.. like one day no problem ever starting now always needing throttle and in heat sometimes not even starting

I have a 2015 yamaha vstar 950 ... changed oil regularly .. just change spark plugs after the problem started with needing throttle in heat..

my question is.. is there an easy adjustment that I can get changed at the shop to fix this .

my experience with trucks was when it got hot an the fuel filter was clogged then it caused problems

so changing fuel filter is fine on a truck and it works fine

... on a motorcycle is there a injector cleaner i can use I use premium gas and the yamaha additive for fuel

is there an easy way to reliably start with this issue like holding key on throttle a bit and hold it or throttle and let go .

its just having trouble starting most after a 20 minute highway run at 100 km/h or more so I think its more than just a setting it think its something clogged

When you press the power off you get the question buttons to power off or restart or whatever thats fine.. then when I choose one i get a second annoying dialog do I wish to do this ..if the display is dark its impossible to answer this second one I WANT TO TURN IT OFF..

I am wondering if driving a FORKLIFT under the influence is a CHARGABLE offence in ONTARIO or if its just handled by the labor board of Ontario. Or is it only a crime if the vehicle is driven in public road.

I was wondering because I think some of our drivers come in rather intoxicated..by the odor.

When I bought the bike it had a carberator problem so I got sloppy using too much throttle then when i got it fixed one night I accidently hit the throttle like before the fix and It flooded the engine .

I dont want to open the starter case if I dont have to so I am thinking If I pop the sparkplugs out and then put it in second and roll it a bit this should clear out the fuel ... is there any drawback to this method of fixing the flooded engine..

when I checked the sparkplugs they were wet so they are getting fuel and the battery is fine ... I have tried various levels of choke and have also tried it with full throttle starting and nothing..

should I maybe cover the cylinders with a bag to keep out dust ...

any help would be appreciated ... the bike was working great after the fix so I am thinking it is this boneheaded flooding that caused it to stop starting...

can I take off one of the caps on the bottom of the NOMA AIR CONDITIONER TO LET WATER OUT ... some seems to be coming in the inside of the window and this is annoying it is installed properly and should go out the back .... not the front...

there seems to be a few caps that I may be able to snap off the bottom are THOSE drain hole caps

I am getting a motorcycle and wondering what kind of security precautions I should take.

I will likely get the Harley 833 Iron and its hands free security system. that will stop the ignition

but I assume it wont keep the bike from being rolled or lifted onto a pickup or flat bed. Would some chains be adequate for most situations or am I just over thinking this and the theft is not as big a problem as I am thinking..

Is the security system pretty noisy when or is it a silent just no ignition type system..

Any information would be greatly appreciated..

I'm tending toward the harley thinking that its slightly higher engine size will allow me to use it for a few years.

I have driven standard vehicles and bicycles so I have good knowledge of manual transmissions. And riding the bicycle long distance I do know the dangers of a small vehicle on the road. I am planning on taking a course at the local community college

the Honda looks like a nice bike but the Harley seems a bit more sturdy and would be nicer bike for daily running around town or short haul road trips.

does anyone have any pro and con opinion on which bike I should go for
