Philosophy : Relate rights to privileges? ?

Rights are things as a human you should have— to breathe, food, shelter, to consent to a sexual situation, what happens to your body.  

Privileges are things you have based on good standing with another individual or entity—that could mean no criminal record so you can vote, or could mean my parents have money and love me so I get a better head start.  Or it could mean that someone is biased toward a group and gives more opportunity either personally or systematically.  

White males in most of the world have the most privilege.  

Sadly people of color and women suffer the loss of so many of their rights.
