What are your thoughts about zoom taking over events that were once social?

    It's useful during the pandemic but won't permanently replace social events.

    "Taking over"??  Zoom is being used to let social events occur without having to travel, to wear masks or to out of your own environment.  And it tends ot be a time saver - at least as far as travel goes.  It's a tool.  Nothing more and nothing less.
