Trump spent close to $200 Million playing GOLF at his OWN resorts, which means much of that TAXPAYER money, went right into his own pockets.
Presidential salary is $400,000 a year.
Trump spent close to 300 YEARS of presidential salary playing golf. ....and you want to commend him for giving just 4 years of it BACK----even if that were true?
and let's see the PROOF he ever donated a DIME to charity.
He refuses to show his taxes..........and went to court to stop anyone from looking at them. Oh yeah, that really sounds like a guy with nothing to HIDE!
He also loves to brag that he's the ONLY president , since maybe Washington, to refuse a salary.
Wrong on BOTH counts. While True, Washington originally refused a salary, he did finally accept $25,000 at the time, since congress stipulated a president MUST be paid for their work.
and since then, both Herbert Hoover....a Multi Millionaire when elected, and John F. Kennedy, BOTH donated their entire salaries to Charity.
So as usual, Trump has absolutely NONE of his FACTS correct........and knows absolutely nothing of history. All these facts are easily found on Google by any third grader.

Biden will not be like Trump. He will not charge the government for housing for his secret service detail -- the gift that Trump will keep on giving even after this term ends.

Biden will keep his salary, but spend less time on golf trips, so economically he'll cost the government less money than Trump.

Trump may not be taking his salary, but he's profited heavily from the presidency. He holds official functions at his own resorts, and he's certainly not giving any discounts on that. So you pretty much have this one backwards.
I don't begrudge any president taking his salary. It's a tough job--I sure wouldn't want it; I think people are crazy to want to be president.
