Based on what was being predicted ten years ago, who was the most accurate?

Proponents, who said warming would continue at around 0.2C/decade?

Skeptics, who said that the warming had stopped?

Or deniers, who said that, based on solar acticity, we would see rapid cooling over coming decade?

Ten years ago, what did YOU think would have happened by now and how accurate did that turn out to be?

更新:

Here is a representative "skeptic" question from back then.  I'll try to find examples of the other viewpoints as time allows.

Thanks to both of you for your answers.  I'm closing this early and will ask again without links, as these seem to make the question "ghost".

I am not a proponent of global warming.  quite the opposite I think it is going to create a whole lot of problems.  I am a skeptic, I tend to question everything, but I do follow the scientific consensus, regardless if it is global warming, the shape of the earth or vaccination.  Not because science always gets it right, but because it is the best available explanation at the time.  In the case of global warming there is no doubt that increasing greenhouse gas concentrations warm the earth, it is as simple as adding another blanket to keep my kids warm at night.

And to answer your question, climate scientist were right.

Good news is that I can now buy LiFePo4 battery cells for less than 100 a kWh, less than Lead Acid even.  70kWh, enough for 2 days of storage would only cost 7,000.  Playing with a system right now shows me that there is a lot of room for technical improvement and I expect serious cost reduction from mass production.  Regulators need to get serious about the rules and work with utility companies and work with industry on behalf of the consumer.  If they fail to adapt, people are going to ignore them and just do their own thing.  I noticed that the first adapters are not in the city, but in rural area's and many of them are conservatives.  Jack Rickard, me he rest in peace, was a staunch republican, but even he could see where things were going.

Point is that the deniers can safely be ignored, they are only about destruction of society as can be seen from the thumbs up/down and a minority in the real world.  The little time (5 - 20 years) I have left on this planet is better spend on enjoying life, playing with the new toys, like solar and batteries.
