Why did gov. DeSantos of Florida raid the home of a scientist for not manipulating data on Coronavirus statistics per DeSantos' orders?

The state of Florida is now attacking this scientist not only by raiding her house while police were pointing guns at her children but bringing other trumped up charges against her as well. Have Republicans shamlessly adopted third world dictator gestopo tactics. Will Florida scientists begin turning up missing or worse for not lying to the public per the demands of De Santos?
