Why do Trump people lie so much during press interviews that the reporters stop or cancel the interview?

This is really getting ridiculous. Trump people are claiming daily that Trump did or didn't say things for which there are ample videos and recordings showing that they are lying. This stuff is clearly NOT fake media news and reporters are dumfounded by the blatant lies and just stop the interview to protect their own credibility. Are people out there really so stupid as to believe what we know to be lies?
