What is your favourite movie with Willem Dafoe?
For me, "The Lighthouse" is his best starring role, "Grand Budapest Hotel" is his best supporting role.

My favorite of his movies is "To Live And Die In LA"! He was also good in "John Wick".

Me too "The lighthouse", I also saw 'GBH' but strangely I remember very little, a film that I should review. I also liked Dafoe in a movie called "The pusher" (1992)

I have to go with The English Patient, whether supporting role or not. I'm dumbfounded he was not nominated for any awards for that movie. I don't particularly care for it, but I thought he was excellent. The Florida Project is another favorite. He's just so good in everything. I could go on and on with praise for many of his other roles.

Shadow of the Vampire. Dafoe should have won an Oscar for his portrayal of Max Schreck/Count Orlok.

Boondock Saints. I love that movie and I love him in it. "Good shooting...shitty shooting...we got ourselves a cowboy..." THE BEST!
