Does it seem like a lot of people are dying at a faster rate in 2020?

I know that a person is dying every second...but it's scary how much deaths happened so far. A lot of them are happening at younger ages too!

Celebrity deaths are highlighted more, but I even think that due to the Coronavirus situation and other complications, there's more deaths happening to non-famous individuals as well.

Your thoughts?

(Also, if you're able to....please check up on friends and loved ones who you haven't seen in a while. Even just a simple "Hi" would be enough).

    Yes, because deaths from the virus are in addition to the normal deaths.

    It may "seem" that way, but statistically speaking the uptick is minor to the point of insignificance.
