Is there a computer comparison website where you can plug in various computers for a side by side comparison? Also - recommendations?

A site you can plug specific models into to compare them. It's so damn hard to go manufacturer website to manufacturer website because the presentations are practically apples to oranges.

As for a recommendation, I am NOT looking for a cheap laptop - I know I'm easily going to be in the $3,000 range. I need a great processor, would like 64GB ram, minimum of 1TB SSD drive, UHD display (3840 x 2160), Thunderbolt 3 port. And lightweight! That's the monkey wrench. I'm looking at MacBook Pro 16 and Dell XPS 15

更新:

A.J. - Thanks for the extensive answer! I'm using the laptop for very advanced presentations (I would like to be able to output 3840 x 1080) using PowerPoint on a PC. If I went Mac, I'd do some Keynote and also set up Bootcamp (or whatever) to run PC PowerPoint. I'm a heavy high-resolution Photoshop user and have begun to dive into AfterEffects and Premiere. Zero gaming.

更新 2:

Almost definite on the Dell XPS 15. I guess the big question I have left is whether it's worth $450 to go from 32Gb to 64Gb ram. If I stick to a 1Tb hard drive, it looks like they are running $2650 or $3100 (though there is a discount I want to get in on so need to decide ASAP).

I feel like I should go with an i9 processor. Especially since I plan on using the thing for a long time (my current XPS is 6 years old)!

更新 3:

Guess it won't be happening anytime soon - computers are now taking over a month to get. Guessing it's a combo of non-available parts and a big run on laptop computers for work-at-home during coronavirus. The project I was wanting the new computer for will probably be canceled anyhow.

One you show is Apple, and they hide as much as possible.

There will be no sites comparing details of any significance. You have to know what you are looking at. Comparisons of what? What are you trying to use this laptop to do? Macbook is awful at gaming. Are you looking for simple internet use? Video edit> What software? The Macbook typically runs OSx and Dell typically Windows.

There should not be a Dell XPS in the $3000 range.

UHD is not great for gaming, and neither is MacBook in any form.

The software in an Apple is provided.

The details of a MacBook Pro 16 are here

    16 is

    16" 3072 × 1920 (16:10), 226 ppi with Wide colour (P3) gamut, 500-nits

    3840 x 2160 pixels would be 4K in 16:9 standard aspect

    1920x1080 is called FHD

    2560x1440 is called QHD

It's far less than 4K, but more than QHD

    500 nit is high brightness

It is a low refresh rate, up to 60Hz

    CPUs are  i7-9750H (score 13554), i9-9980HK(score 17427),  i9-9880H (score 16318)

For 99% of uses, these CPUs will not be noticeably different.

Ram is not upgradable after purchase

Maybe 64GB helps a little in video editing over 32GB which is a little better than 16GB. It doesn't affect the graphics card function at all, which uses its own memory.

There are various other expensive laptops, but if you can't state what you are using it for, there isn't much point comparing them.
