Is there any reason to believe that the current warming is a continuation of the recovery from the Little Ice Age?
Question repeated due to the activities of the troll.
I would be interested to see any evidence to support the idea that the current warming is a recovery from the LIA. Looking at the instrumental record, temps were fairly flat in the second half of the 19th century and early 20th, so isn't it likely that any recovery was over by then?

Also, if the current warming is not due principally to increasing GHG's, then what IS it due to?
Or is increasing GHG's the best; indeed the only reasonable explanation?

CO2 has been the prime mover on ice ages/non ice ages as far as I know. Volcanoes added Sulfides which are not good either. The reason this is being blamed on us is we have mined and drilled up millions of tons of fuels and released millions of tons of CO2. Worse yet, methane. There are tons of methane ice trapped in the oceans. If the oceans ever warm to the point that starts melting, OH BOY!! I think the theory on The Little Ice Age was sunspot activity or lack of. I think we recovered a long time ago from that.

I would like a quiet word with the first person who suggested that.
People who think that global warming is a recovery, I ask you: If I trapped you in a freezer before dunking you in boiling water, would you say you have recovered from frost bite?

The current warming is the result of greenhouse gases, most of which are from burning fossil fuels. Here, let NASA explain it. https://climate.nasa.gov/

Darwin have you not realized that the so-called heat trapping ability is false? That global warming is non-existent and that you are kicking a dead horse.

The modern warming trend 1975 - 2003 is being replaced by a cooling trend which will eventually be called a Solar Grand Minimum.
As solar activity (wind) decreases, galactic cosmic rays from deep space are able to penetrate our atmosphere with increasing ease.
These rays are responsible for 1) increased cloud nucleation and 2) increased seismic and volcanic activity due to interactions with muons in the subsurface (magma).
Looking at the graph, the trend in atmospheric radiation is up. But it isn’t totally linear. Take the decrease in September 2017. Scrolling back up to the Sunspot graph we can find a corresponding solar outburst.
Higher solar activity equates to a reduction in cosmic rays. As the sun continues its slide into the next grand solar minimum, cosmic rays entering Earth’s atmosphere will continue their upward trend which means more cloud cover and volcanic activity, and, therefore, lower global temperatures.
What all this means is Hello Global Cooling.

No
(because such a "recovery" would "level out" at temperature levels immediately preceding the "Little Ice Age", and it seems that we have far exceeded those temperature levels)

Is there any reason to believe you're not a troll? No, I did not think so.

I suggest you watch the video before you accept the claim that things are warming as a fact.
