To get a decent answer more information is needed. How do they break? Who did the work? What kind of brakes are they, drum or disc? What is the year, make and model of your vehicle?

Your brakes are breaking??
Oh no!
What exactly is happening?
Where did you get the repair?
What was the explanation?

On the Hyundai and Kia Korean style cars there's a caliper mount that wears out inside the caliper pin holes. When the caliper mount is worn out, it causes the pads to drag and caliper wobble. If the slide pins are loose in the mount holes, replace the caliper mount. Find a better brake shop if they are sending non serviceable brakes out the door without explaining about warn out parts and shop liability wavers.

Your probably 'riding' the brakes. Keep your foot off the pedal unless you are stopping. Put it on the floorboard.

Using your left foot on the brake pedal.
You didn't have the rotors replaced.
You bought cheap brake parts
The joint that did the brake job didn't remove the rust from the caliper brackets and didn't replace the hardware.
You don't have 1/4" of free play on the brake pedal and the brakes are not releasing all the way when you take your foot off the brake pedal

Brakes feel a lot different when brand new -- especially if you got them replaced when it was so bad you also need new rotors.
