Can someone explain why yahoo calls an answer a privacy violation when it has nothing to do with anyone's privacy?

If a user blocked you, trying to answer their question is seen as an attempt to violate the block, thus a privacy violation. It could've been worded better. The message should just say something like 'Sorry, we cannot post your answer because you have been blocked from responding to this user's content".

That happens when the Asker has Blocked you but Yahoo has not Detected it right away typically that Happens when the Question is Asked under Anonymous

Seems simpler if it just said"you're blocked".

That means you tried to answer a question posted by another user who has already blocked you. Simple as that.

Because it's their house, their rules, and so they can do what they want. Maybe you should actually read the "Community Guidelines" and the "Terms and Conditions" as required and as you said you did when you signed up for your account, for then you would actually know why.

It gives you the message “Privacy Violation” when you’re trying to answer a question that was posted by someone who has blocked you.
