Yes. All of the above at different times. We generally eat twice a day. If a continental breakfast is available, take advantage and don't eat again until dinner, except maybe a snack or two. Coffee, a bagel, a banana, OJ, and maybe some cereal. Good to go!

I budget $15/day/person. Free breakfasts help a lot. Splurge on a fancy meal at least once per trip.

    Have fun!

It's not all about food you know

Road trips are a journey. I've been on plenty (I have been to 6 states in the course of the last 4 weeks)

It's enjoyable to take your time and hit up the memorable stops, stretch, and get out the camera to capture the moment.

Therefore after a long drive I get to one of the major cities like Salt Lake or Reno, and have a big dinner.

Continental breakfast must be taken advantage of, I'll agree.

Check this out, capturing the moment (October 2017)

I highly suggest the US-64 route through northern New Mexico. Breathtaking

Continental Breakfast has too much sugar

I tend not to eat breakfast, it weighs me down, but if you need to eat..eat well
