I mean, Corbyn and Thornberry are a right old barrel of laughs, aren't they? And as for "authoritarian", remind me which party it was that created 3000 new criminal offences, on-the-spot fines for littering and swearing, ASBOs, detention without charge, and undermined judicial independence with the Human Rights Act?

I think that she has a point but unfortunately she is still a Tory. I see their main problem apart from indecision, prevarication, division and their 'Wanting the UK regain it's sovereignty and control, plus a good dose of outright arrogance, is a lack of humanity. When a wheelchair ridden woman with a chronic,life limiting illness is refused her benefit as she cannot get into an office with no wheelchair access due to their rules, do we need to look further for evidence of this?

Their biggest problem is that they set up a Brexit referendum purely to attempt to retain their majority against UKIP erosion and are now seen just as a party of career politicians. Labour are now more 'conservative' in the sense of going back to the past with some enthusiasm at the grass roots.

Exactly. It's hard to present yourself as a dream when you're the reality. Very few alive now have ever seen the reality of a left-wing govt so it's easy for them to idealise.
That pretty much sums them up. Us Lefties like to party!
