Are sawhorses a standard height?

I found a pair of (what appear to be) OLD and quite rustic (wood and steel) sawhorses at a flea market, but didn't have a measuring tape so I don't know how tall they are.

I'm thinking to maybe use them as legs for a desk, but I'm not sure if they will be too low. I'm sure I could find another use for them, but just wondered if there's a standard for height?

Thanks!

No. People built them to suit their own body height. Desk height is 30 inches

    from the floor.

Find the height of the average desk. Subtract whatever the thickness the top of your desk will be. That is the height of the support (legs/sawhorses) you need.

.Saw horses can have legs of any height, many where made individually by the carpenters who used them, only modern mass produced ones come with standard heights .

They're probably about 30" high, though there's no "standard". People who make their own will make them to whatever height they require. Mine are knocked up out of spare timber and are probably too tall for some people.

Don't make them into a desk! Let them run free!
