Say ! After a 9 month Sabbatical from Yahoo Answers- I'm suddenly getting like,10 to 15 "Best Answers" -a Day! What gives, Yahoo ?! :o?

They fixed the broken email link, I'm getting them from 9 months back. Email to other users who allow it is also working.

Yahoo stopped sending such emails many months ago, and it was reasonable to guess that it was yet another glitch that the chimps that staff their tech support side didn't know a thing about.

Maybe they hired some smarter chimps, who fixed it, and now the emails are starting to flow again, with a ton of backlog.

I haven't been on sabatical and I'm getting the same thing. For a long time, I got zero notice of my best answers. I guess they finally decided to catch it up. Really annoying.

What you are getting is emails about best answers for the past 9 months not all are recent ones. Yahoo has seem to fits something and the emails have been getting through now. I am getting them also. I got one this week about me making level 4. I am a level 7.

Fo Months.......the notification system was down....with NO notifications being sent.

Then they did some "maintenence" and apparently, unclogged the Log jam............and now all the back log is still being fowarded. ........most of it, is all from 9 months ago. Mixed in with recent notificatons.

Yahoo are just catching up with their backlog of emails. You will already have received the points months ago but not the emails.

Idk what is the reason but I've been having them too. I guess they fixed some blockage in the system, no?
