can i use hot glue to fix a rip in jeans?

my only pair of jeans I own have a rip in the bottom if then. like in between the legs in the middle of the crotch on the bottom. so the rip is not noticeable.

i got the rip from work, and its late and i cant go out and buy new pants right now.

can i hot glue the rip? i just dont want the rip to get bigger as i have to work tomorrow morning and need them to last my shift so after i can go buy new pants.

i dont have any sewing stuff or fabric glue or anything and its too late for me to drive out and get some.

No, you need to patch the jeans with a scrap of old denim. Try converting one of your denim jackets into a waistcoat, and use a piece of the sleeve to repair the rip. You need to sew a large patch to cover the entire area plus an extra inch or two, then sew along the edges of the rip with a thread similar in color to the original fabric

I highly doubt it would stay. When hot glue drys you can pretty much peel it off stuff. Maybe duct tape or a stapler?
