How do I sabotage a lawn mower so that noone gets hurt?

Does that "sugar in the tank" thing really work? Stealing spark plugs doesn't help: My village people seem to have hens that lay them instead of eggs.

    Sugar in the tank sounds good but sugar doesn't dissolve well in gasoline - it dissolves in the suspended water in the tank.

    As a prank - take the blade off.

    Yes, stick your foot in it whilst it is running, and "noone" will use it after that for fear of your aids tainted blood.
