what would happen if north korea went to war with the united states?

We'd be sitting along the DMZ with South Korea....

Because we are still technically at war with them- all there is between us is a cease fire/truce.

North Korea would lose.

The world could possibly also be destroyed in nuclear war if China decided to help them.

North Korea will quickly become the newest province of the Republic of Korea.

What do you think would happen? They would invade with a blitzkrieg to Seoul, South Korea, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians - and 17,000 Americans whose purpose is to die in the first hours of a war. They would then be pounded into the stone age. They do not have the capability to fight against smart bombs, laser cannons, massive ordinance air bombs, and many other weapons.

I get sent over there like in the WW2 days, being a young middle class male, and I either kill or get killed with several other young, middle/lower class males.

They would be vaporized.
